RosettaStone Fine Art Gallery is proud to present their ''Wine Tasting'' Series. These events are much more than your average wine tasting. This event is a wine and food ''pairing'' and will be catered by award winning area restaurant, Café Chardonnay.
''Wine & Walls'' -A Wine Tasting Event with ''The Wine Doctor'', Avram Cooperman. Mr. Cooperman will be providing various wines for your personal experience.
''The Wine Doctor'', Avram M. Cooperman M.D., is an active pancreatic surgeon and a long-standing student, collector, fan and drinker of Italian wines. He introduces these wines at dinners, helps people form personal wine collections, and is an unofficial goodwill ambassador of all things Italian. The three wines for this evening's tasting are a Dolcetto from Piedmont, a Chianti Classico from Tuscany, and a Brunello from Montalcino, all from small boutique wineries near the big ones. He will be sharing some thoughts on (and bottles of) this important subject to help you enrich your own wine experience.
Artist: JB Berkow - ''Venetian Walls'' series JB Berkow, internationally known artist, has been working on a new series titled ''Venetian Walls''. These new works will ultimately be part of a traveling museum show.

Deborah Bigeleisen captures the character and lush voluptuousness of flowers on canvas through her imagery and the sophistication of her palette. The buttery-looking surfaces of her work are actually created by techniques developed by Dutch masters to achieve depth, luminosity and perspective. All combine to create incredibly fresh bouquets that, unlike their inspiration, endure the test of time.
The Love and Romance exhibition will also include works by Lina Scarfi, Rita Shapiro, Dominic Besner, Marcelle Zanetti and Marlene Lewis. |

Our March wine tasting opens a very New York exhibition of fine art. In addition to viewing new works depicting New York moments, you will also taste and hear about some fabulous wines from Sommelier Brian Chamis. Food pairings will be provided by award winning Café Chardonnay.
Featured Artists: Jeff Pullen and Andre van der Kerkhoff Featured Speaker: Brian Chamis of Cafe Chardonnay
Jeff Pullen paints on textured surfaces made up of the very items that are found in the scenes he paints, including bricks, shutters and car hoods. Because of the staccato movement created by the ins and outs of the undulating surface, viewers can actually experience the energy of the city streets. His works create both emotional narratives and a visual dynamic, and has been described as everything from, ''see-through walls,'' and ''forgotten streets once traveled,'' to ''Edward Hopper meets Elmore Leonard.''
Andre van der Kerkhoff is truly an artist of the world. The Austrian born Australian is represented in art collections located throughout Europe, Hong Kong, Australia and the US. Most recently he was featured in a sell out show in New York, which highlighted his works on brushed aluminum plates. His latest series, created via this dynamic medium and style will be on exhibition. |

Joyce Birkenstock's works are not only jewel-like paintings, they are glimpses into an exotic culture. Birkenstock travels to unique destinations to obtain snap shots into the lives of indigenous peoples from all over the globe. The places are often hard to reach and require precise planning in order to coordinate with ritualistic events. Upon her return she paints her impressions of these events. The end result are gems of our shared human existence. |
